Hospital Corpsmen have a time-honored history of benevolent service and heroic prestige with the Navy and Marine Corps team.
A Recon IDC takes that legacy further. The Corpsmen of the Marine Raiders of WWII were the patriarchs to the present day Recon IDCs. Since then, Recon IDCs have fought in “every clime and place.” Today, they continue to serve as valued team members throughout U.S. Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) and USMC Reconnaissance units.
